Just a “load of old rubbish”! You might say this, but the design has been evolved using the most basic weaving technique that forms the basis of all textiles - warp and weft. Instead of thread, I have used strips of card from cardboard packaging accumulated from the weekly shop.

Bands selected purely for colour, the image gives a fun and totally absorbing aspect, considering that waste can make pattern.
