I studied the pattern of braiding used extensively in South Asia and introduced much more colour to the design, but the exotic flavour is strongly retained. The design has been used for a cushion and two silk squares.

The design is stitched in straight stitch on 12 to the inch mono canvas, using DMC cotton perlé 3
There is a small area of canvas around the design which allows for mounting with a mount for a wall hanging picture. The art work is sold as is, no frame, mount or additional stitch work.
