Limited edition giclée print of Needlepoint Tapestry

This design was influenced by a visit to the confetti fields in Worcestershire. I’ve always loved the fun of confetti, when the tension of the wedding service is over, the vows are made and it’s time to celebrate. With this design, there are 12 (I think!) shapes, each having its own colour. They are scattered over the entire square, keeping in mind and even distribution of colour and shape - not as easy as it seems. The black grid was then stitched and finally, the ecru background, which was an opportunity for my mind to wander off to thoughts of new designs!
Sold with image size 48 x 48cms, with approximately 8cms white border, rolled with acid free tissue in tube. Signed, numbered and dated.

This design has been adapted for large smaller silk square scarves, in the original colours and a cooler variation.

Confetti gave me the design idea. This was translated to TLSS 006 (original colours) and TLSS 008 (cooler, icier colours).
I used tent stitch for the entire design. Cotton perlé 3 thread, 12 to the inch mono canvas.
There is a small area of canvas around the design which allows for mounting with a mount for a wall hanging picture. The art work is sold as is, no frame, mount or additional stitch work.
