Needlepoint Tapestry

Size 45.5cms x 45.5cms.

A design that started from a diamond in the centre, with the idea that this represented a statue or fountain in the centre of a Paradise Garden. Knowing this, you will see the four paths leading to this centre and then the symmetrical flower beds in the four corners. This was the plan I held in my mind the entire time or stitching. Held together with a randomly coloured border using all the colours used in the design.

It’s a most pleasing design and has proved to be on of the most popular. I have used it for large silk square scarves in two colourways, a smaller silk square, and a cushion in the alternative colour way.
